Maintenance of plate heat exchangers is crucial, affecting not only the normal operation of the equipment but also production efficiency. In daily use, in addition to handling special situations, regular maintenance is essential. Because plate heat exchangers are easy to disassemble and assemble, maintenance typically requires no special tools or equipment. Appropriate maintenance methods can be chosen depending on the situation. For example, if there is no leakage but the K-value of the heat transfer system has decreased, it is not necessary to disassemble the heat exchanger. Instead, a descaling solution can be injected into the equipment through a closed-loop system for circulation cleaning. If site conditions do not permit this, or if disassembly reveals that the scaling is not severe, the plates can be directly rinsed with water and gently brushed with a soft brush.
